He lived a sad life, chained to a doghouse, guarding his owner’s property. His owner passed away, and that’s how Max became ours. The beginning wasn’t easy for us or for Max. There were fears and sensitivities, but the effort was put in and the results are clear. From a lonely, emaciated, balding dog to a completely healthy, happy pet who has finally experienced life.
Max knows how to be a good friend. He needs space, time, contact, bonding, and walks. Max’s ideal environment is one with more peace and quiet. Small children and small dogs are distracting, so we want someone who will engage him in physical and mental activities. Someone who understands the importance of positive reinforcement training.
