1.2% PIT support

Every year until the beginning of May, all residents of Lithuania are invited to allocate 1.2% of their personal income tax to an organization of their choice, so we invite you to support us – the “Lithuania – for Animals” charity and support fund.

This support is completely painless for you, but for us it is a large sum of money that will help us continue to reduce cases of pet neglect in Lithuania and fight against cruelty to animals.

By allocating 1.2% of your personal income tax to the "Lithuania - for Animals" fund, you directly contribute to:

  • Fighting illegal animal breeding operations
  • Rescuing animals from cruel conditions
  • Reducing cases of animal neglect
  • Treating animals and finding them new homes

Your financial support is allocated to:

  • Transportation
  • Initial veterinary examination and tests
  • Quarantine
  • Grooming
  • Vaccinations and microchipping
  • Treatment, medications, surgeries, hospitalization
  • Animal care supplies and food

Step by step: how to allocate 1.2% PIT support

LOG IN TO THE EDS SYSTEM

  • In your web browser, enter the address deklaravimas.vmi.lt
  • Click "Log in to EDS"
  • Select your preferred login method.

WHERE TO FIND THE REQUEST

  • In the window that opens, click "Allocation of paid income tax portion to support recipients"
  • In the next window, next to "Request to transfer income tax portion to support recipients and (or) political organizations" click the pencil icon.
  • In the next window, next to "Request to transfer income tax portion to support recipients and (or) political organizations" click the pencil icon.

SELECT WHO YOU ARE SUPPORTING

  • Here you can see whether you have already allocated 1.2% personal income tax support. To update the information, click "Continue".

UPDATE THE INFORMATION

  • To change the support recipient, click the trash icon in the action row. Delete the support recipient to whom you want to stop providing support.

ALLOCATE SUPPORT TO A NEW RECIPIENT

  • After deleting the old entry, you can add a new support recipient by clicking "Add new entry" .

SELECT US AS SUPPORT RECIPIENTS

  • Enter our identification number 304087945
  • or the name Deimantė Guobytė Charity and Support Fund "Lithuania – for Animals"
  • and click "Continue"

FILL IN ADDITIONAL FIELDS

  • Tax portion amount (in percent): 1.2
  • I allocate the tax portion until the tax period: 2029 (or a shorter period if you prefer)
  • Click "Save" .

REVIEW THE SAVED INFORMATION

  • After reviewing the saved information, confirm that it is correct by clicking "Yes, correct" .

GENERATE THE REQUEST

  • Confirm that you want to generate the request by clicking the green button.

SUBMIT THE REQUEST

  • On the next page, below you will find the button "Submit". Click it and confirm the submission of the request once more.
